The Benefits of Joining the WB&A Chapter

The Washington, Baltimore & Annapolis (WB&A) Chapter represents TCA members residing in Maryland, Delaware, Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia. We invite you to join us and participate in the fun, excitement and growth of the chapter and to buy and sell trains.

• Here are a few of the fantastic events and items we offer our members:

• Two (2) regular meets (February and December) that include:

• FREE admission
• Our “Train Doctor” is available to make repairs at the regular meets (minor repairs FREE) Nominal charge for parts, as needed)
• Themed train displays
• A 50/50 Raffle
• Door prizes
• An interactive layout for young and old alike
• Parts dealers — new and old trains
• Great food that includes piping hot and cold entrees at reasonable prices
• Starting at 8:00 AM one (1) hour of trading for TCA members ONLY — then the public is admitted from 9:00 AM until closing
• Train appraisals and evaluations
• Operators and collectors available to share their wealth of information to assist you with your train collecting/operating; providing educational seminars throughout the meets
• Layout builders to build or assist you in building your layout

• Two (2) Mini-Meets (June and November) that include:

• Free table at our mini meets to sell your trains/train related items
• General business meetings open to all WB&A members
• FREE coffee, donuts and lunch served
• People knowledgeable in areas of interest to the hobby — operators, collectors, historian, train repairmen, appraisers, layout builders, current market trends and much more
• Train races with awards
• Door Prizes.
• Occasional mini auction
• Great fellowship with fellow train hobbyists

An informative newsletter published and mailed to every member quarterly. The Newsletter contains events, articles from the “Overheard in the Parts Department”, advertising to help you find what you are looking for, minutes of our meetings, treasurer's report, …

A video tape library of TCA members layouts.
|
|
|
As a member of TCA you are invited to rent a table (s) at the meet and sell your trains and/or train related items.
Please e-mail the Meet-Chairman to reserve your table or to ask any questions you might have regarding the meet.
The meet's will be held at the Annapolis Armory or at the Kena Temple (Click on the appropriate picture below for directions to the Meet)

This is a fun group and the annual fee is only $18.00 and you will receive the Quarterly Newsletter via U. S. Postal Service Mail.
